MISSION

The Mission Of The Bahamas Nurses Union Is To Provide The Ultimate Representation For The Its Members In A Practice Manner, By Keeping Pace With The Needs Of Nurses And The Nursing Profession.

THE HISTORY

The Bahamas Nurses Union is a dynamic, vibrant institution which was formed by a group of visionaries who believed that the future of nursing in the Bahamas depended largely upon our ability to address our own concerns as relates to terms and conditions of employment. Nurses were at that time, viewed as just a number in the list of public servants, disrespected as professionals with out a voice.
